These courses are offered through a contract with the Department of Human Services and are free of charge to licensed administrators. You are required to be a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator or have completed the 100 PCHA training program prior to taking this exam. This is a proctored exam administered by Penn State Abington. You have the option of taking the exam online or in person at the PSU Abington Campus. For the online option, you will receive test date options to select from upon registration. Penn State Fayette combines the supportive learning environment of a small rural campus with direct access to the extensive resources and services of Penn State. You must attend a one-day Department of Human Services Orientation in addition to the 100-hour course. Penn State Lehigh Valley is partnering with Penn State York to offer the entire 100 hours of Accelerated Personal Care Home Administrator training and the exam via zoom. Continuing Education & Certification Training
